The Sunday Post - 26 June 2016

Sunday 26 June 2016

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This is a post to recap the past week on your blog, tell everyone about books and things you can showcase and share news for the upcoming week. Remember to link your post and to visit others who have linked up.

This is a very quick post just to say that I'm back from holidays! Had a lovely time and an even lovelier time today. I have a brand-new look and would love to hear your feedback and comments. Honesty is the best policy - so don't hold back! (You will not know if I stick out my tongue or pull a face or even start crying. You might only notice a couple of silent cyber attacks. (As soon as I figure out how to launch one...) )

I will be an active participant on the blogosphere as from tomorrow again and polish the brand-new look. Still need to update a few pages as well.

The only thing I can share with you today is my review on 11/22/63. I finally finished it and I can't stop talking about it. So I'll just keep quiet and share the link.

10 Reasons why you should really read 11/22/63

I've also (finally) registered on Netgalley, but haven't really had time yet to browse the site. Any tips and advice to be a really good Netgalley reviewer will be greatly appreciated.

Wishing you all a good week and happy reading!

  1. Oh, Netgalley is addicting! I was a kid in a candy store when I first joined so my suggestion would be not to go overboard with requesting. I read 11/22/63 when it was first published and couldn't stop talking about it either, King is such a good writer. I'll have to check out you post to see what you thought.

    1. Hi Whitney! I've got a bit of catching-up work to do today and will then dive into the Netgalley sea. Maybe I'll just dip my toes for starters. Thanks for visiting!

  2. I don't use Netgalley much but I echo Whitney's comment- the biggest thing I hear is people request too much and then feel overwhelmed or their review % is too low. Glad your holiday was nice- and I like the new look!
